There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Kott: Page 1, line 6, following complex; (title amendment): Insert and Page 1, line 7, following stepchild; (title amendment): Insert to participate on certain amateur athletic teams; Page 2, line 19: Delete or Page 2, following line 23: Insert a new subparagraph to read: 1996-04-26 House Journal Page 4056 HB 198 (K) to participate on an amateur athletic team as evidenced by the international federation or national governing body for that sport; Representative Kott moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Elton objected. The question being: Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?
